Sensitive Skin Ingredient Checker

Paste ingredients from the label (comma or line separated). We flag common sensitive-skin watch-outs.

A Small Reality Check

This checker is not here to scare you away from every long ingredient name. Long names can be ordinary. Natural-sounding ingredients can be irritating. Sensitive skin is inconvenient like that.

Use the result as a second look, the way you might reread a label in the store before buying something you cannot return.

What I Would Actually Notice

Known triggers first. If fragrance makes your eyes water, that matters more than a general internet rating. If niacinamide has stung you several times, note it. If essential oils have been fine in body wash but not in face cream, contact time may be part of the story.

Product type matters too. A rinse-off cleanser is not the same risk as a leave-on serum. A sunscreen used around the eyes has a different job than a hand cream. The checker can point at possible issues, but your use case decides how much they matter.

After You Check

If the ingredient list looks risky for your history, skip it or patch test slowly. If it looks fine, still introduce the product one at a time. A calm label does not guarantee a calm face.

Stop testing if the reaction is strong, spreading, swollen, painful, or close to the eyes. That is not a “try again tomorrow” situation.
